1. Open the photo you would like to cut. If you are a beginer, avoid photos of people with funky hair. Pick something simple.




2. Select the freehand selection tool and pick the Point to Point method. Set feather to 1 (to give the PSD nice smooth edges). Make sure your settings are like mine.




3. Zoom in on the image so you can get a better view. Slowly and carefully start to outline the image.


4. Once you have outlined the image, you will get something that looks like this.


5. Copy (ctrl C) the image and paste (ctrl V) the image onto a new canvas.


6. You are done!.
