Black and White Vintage Effect

1. Open up your image.

2. Effects > Artistic effects > Aged Newspaper...

Note:It doesn't matter how much you age it. I aged it at 100, though.

Your picture should look like this.

The more you repeat this step, the darker and foggier your image will be.

3. Now, make this image black and white. I know there are other ways of doing this, but this is what I do.

Use your "Change to Target" brush. Using black, cover the entire picture.

4. Sharpening the image is optional.

5. You're finished! Now your picture has a black and white vintage effect.
